still experimenting with Encaustic wax Painting, using a window frame decorative piece.
I thought I'd add my painting to the background like I'm looking out the window...
this piece measures 21"x 12"
Just tinkering a bit today...
cold and cloudy out so... I'm staying inside and keeping warm!

So sorry to be away for so long..
I have been doing some early spring cleaning and came upon some Encaustic supplies I ordered back in 2007 and forgot I had! Wow!..what a cool surprise!..
This is a totally new direction for me in my Art work as I'm honestly not a painter of any kind so with that said...
I thought I'd tough it out and explore more on this interesting wax Paint!
One of the oldest art mediums of it's time dates back 2500 yrs. to the Egyptians who painted with hot wax.
It's called Encaustic Painting, I must say it's intriguing,as sometimes you may never know how it will turn out....
~Hills and Valleys~
Using wax paint and a special Encasutic low temp iron..you can also use a low temp stylist, which I'm still waiting for in the mail which adds
more creative form...
~Land and Sky~
Hope you stop by again and see what else I come up with...? I don't even know???
Thanks for stopping by today...
Hope you find your inspiration! :)

Playing around with these Paint waxes has a profound effect on me.
New ways of expressing oneself in letting go...
and letting it be what it may be."let it be"
Is that a Beatle song?!
Thanks for stopping by today....I've been working on a project for Christmas.....and
I'm hosting a Jeweled Tree swap and these are the two I made. They sparkle and shine in a lighted area. These will sit on a table during my Christmas Holiday. :)
Created this ~Halloween Spicy Charlotte Witch~ Using a vintage spice tin for her body. I used Halloween Embellishments from my partners in my Halloween Embellishment swap I hosted. She is on display for Halloween this year.

I'm hosting a swap for ~Corky Charlotte~ dolls...
This is the one I made for Rhonda...she is a feisty blonde and one of a kind. Her main body is made with a Champagne cork her arms are made with glass beads and charms that are movable so she can
kick up her little red boots! but of course she thinks she's the Queen!... and on top of her crown is a little birdie that sings to her. I hope Rhonda will love her as much as I loved creating her!
Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today... :)
